Lynn Bouterse

Lynn Bouterse has directed SAMS Short-Term Ministries for the past ten years. Educated as a high school teacher, with a BA in History from Geneva College, Beaver Falls, PA, Lynn is convinced that team preparation is an essential component of every short-term missions endeavor.

Lynn has partnered with over 25 churches and a number of dioceses to conduct Short-Term Mission Training Seminars. Her training objective is to help teams fully understand the principles of beneficial short-term missions, the value of relationship building within the team and most importantly, the significant influence short-term mission teams can have on the individuals with whom the team works.

A lifetime Episcopalian whose life has been changed through missions, Lynn is an active member of Church of the Savior in Ambridge, PA. She lives in Baden, PA with her husband Bob.

Denise Cox

Denise has ministered at SAMS for over 15 years. Prior to coming with SAMS she had a long-term interest in Latin America and has traveled to several Latin American countries and Spain. Denise has a BA in Sociology/Anthropology from Chatham College, Pittsburgh, PA, and works with churches, inquirers, candidates and missionaries as they seek to fulfill their roles in the Great Commission.

Denise attends Church of the Ascension in Pittsburgh and lives with her husband, Phil, and grown son, Kevin, in Gibsonia, PA.

Dana Priest
Donation Relations Associate

Dana began with SAMS in 2006 as the Donor Relations Associate, processing checks, responding to donor inquiries, and generating receipts and other reports. More recently, he took on additional responsibilities as the Communications Coordinator, editing the Misionero and other printed materials for SAMS.

Originally from Virginia, Dana earned a B.A. in English Writing at Eastern College in St. Davids, PA, where he met his wife Beth. They moved to Ambridge in 2007 and both graduated with M.A.R. degrees from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry. They attend Church of the Savior in Ambridge, where Dana is also employed as the Director of Christian Formation.

Ron Kramm

Ron provides essential administrative and logistical services to both SAMS missionaries and donors. He has been with SAMS for over 15 years. Ron has B.S. in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a career development certificate in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh. Previous to joining the SAMS staff Ron had several years experience in accounting in both the secular and non-profit environments.

Ron worships at Greater Grace Fellowship and lives in Shaler, PA, with his wife, Sarah and grown children Nathan and Sarah Lynn.

Nita Dempsey

Nita began working at SAMS in 2002 and oversee many services for both the missionaries and the staff. She has been interested in missions for a long time as part of a missionary sending church and has had the opportunity to go on a short-term mission with her son Sean. She is a native of Western PA, but her mother's family is from Puerto Rico.

Nita was recently married and attends Church of the Savior in Ambridge, PA. She lives in Monaca, PA, with her husband and two sons, Caleb and Sean.

Stewart Wicker

Stewart and his wife, Laura, spent three years as SAMS missionaries in Tela, Honduras. For over 15 years Stewart has served on the SAMS staff as Missionary Personnel Director and more recently as President and Mission Director. Stewart has a B.A. in Economics from Davidson College in Davidson, N.C.

Stewart is a member of Church of the Savior in Ambridge, PA, and lives with his wife, Laura and three children, Cesiah, Amanda and John in Ambridge, PA.

Bonnie Walker

Bonnie joined the staff in September, 2004 as the IT Coordinator. She also served as a summer intern to SAMS in 2000 and 2001. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering.

Bonnie and her husband, Brandon, attend Church of the Ascension in Pittsburgh, PA. They live in West View, PA with their daughters Samantha and Madeline.
