Ministry
Barbara is an ordained priest helping to pastor and develop churches in the San Pedro Sula area. She also coordinates and orients the volunteer teachers at the Diocesan schools.

Call
After being a stockbroker for 30 years, Barbara had a strong sense that she wanted to give back to the Lord after he had carried her through many difficult times in her life. While at seminary preparing for full-time Christian service, Barbara was trying to discern the ministry to which she was called. With the help of Bishop Leo Alard, she determined that her call was to missionary service. She sent in her application to SAMS and has been with SAMS since 1996. Barbara is from the Diocese of Texas.
