Ministry
Jack and Mary McDonald and their two children, Ashby and Jack are serving in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. Their home church is Truro Episcopal in Fairfax, Virginia. They are jointly sent by SAMS and Christian Veterinary Mission. Mary is a veterinarian and works to bring Christian care to the rural poor. Jack who is a banker works with Christian micro-enterprise and micro-credit programs to help community development.
 
Call
Mary previously worked for a student ministry and Jack has had a long-term interest in Latin America. Mary entered into training as a veterinarian knowing she wanted to serve in missions. They have gone on short-term mission with their children and the whole family is excited about ministering in Bolivia

Prayer
Pray that the Lord will use the opportunities Mary has at the vet school to teach English using the Jesus film. Pray for Jack as he pursues ways to wholistic ways to develop rural communities.
