Ministry
Mike and Kim Miller are providing the leadership for Hogar Esperanza de Jesús (The Hope of Jesus Children's Home), a project of the Honduran Episcopal Church. Kim is responsible for fundraising, organizational development, and administrative duties of the children's home. Mike is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction for the children's home. Mike is also creating and managing Hope Farm, the farming portion of the project, which will provide food and a small income for the children's home.
Mike and Kim are also using their God-given gifts to serve the communities in which they work. Kim is helping to organize a small medical clinic in a rural village and occasionally provides wound care treatment to those in need. Mike serves on a Water Committee in the village where the farm is located and hopes to help bring clean, potable, water to this community.
Call
Mike and Kim received their call to missions after a short-term missions trip to a children's home in Honduras in 1999. Since that time, they have been volunteering and supporting various organizations dedicated to the protection of children. It is the desire of their hearts to reflect God's character as a helper and defender of the fatherless.
Prayer Challenge
Please join Mike and Kim as they pray for new supporters for the children's home project. Pray for protection of their growing family as they serve Christ in rural Honduras.
