Ministry
Phil and Jennifer Leber have a "life on life" ministry of teaching and discipleship to young men and women who are the future leaders of Uganda.

Phil's vision is to encourage the renewal of public worship that is spiritually vital and theologically rooted. His goal is to raise up leaders of worship renewal who develop a passion for worship that glorifies God, reflects indigenous life experience, and where language, song, culture and theology work together to provide a new sense of the power and presence of God. Phil is discipling leadership teams to carry on the work of teaching about worship renewal. Since 1998, Phil has taught in 17 dioceses of the Church of Uganda, as well as Anglican dioceses in Kenya and Rwanda.

Jennifer has a passion to teach the Word and to impart the love and compassion of Christ to the displaced, orphaned and street children of Uganda. Jennifer is involved in three ministries to serve these children. She is working to bring relief to the "Night Commuters" of Northern Uganda by raising public awareness of the plight of thousands of desperate children in Kitgum. In Mukono, fifty-four orphans currently live in the Door of Hope orphanage, which is under continuing construction. In Kampala, she works with Cornerstone Ministries to provide a home for young street girls; most of whom are Muslim and many had desperately turned to prostitution.

Call
The Lebers describe their call to missions in this way, “The Great Commision of Matthew 28 calls for us to go make disciples of all nations. We understand that this involves more than sharing the Gospel; we must share our lives as well. We can help most by sharing our love and teaching the Bible precept by precept, coming alongside our Ugandan friends as they grow in faith and knowledge. “ Click for Larger Image!

Prayer Challenges
Please pray for the children of Uganda. They are homeless and struggling to survive. Thousands of children are living in conditions of fear and violence. They are being denied their basic human rights to health, protection and education.
