We are working well on the third day. The men are scrubbing varnish off the bricks and the women are running the sewing academy. We are eating well and drinking too much. The work is hot and demanding. The hotel has good air conditioning and fine hot water. Work is thirty minutes away. Barbara looks fine. She reads your mail regularly and tells me about it. She had a plate put in the bone just below the knee yesterday with an epidural and is now trying to get home. I will see her tomorrow. We are on a hill to the north of town, the diocesan office is just below us a block, and the hospital is four blocks down hill. Barbara's house is a few blocks beyond.
