Over half of the world's largest cities are in Latin America. Over 45 percent of the population in Latin American countries is 15 years old or younger. How can Episcopalians respond to the challenge of poverty, disease and spiritual emptiness that exists in Latin America today? Opportunities exist for long-term ministries in church planting, teaching, training of national leaders, social outreach, medical work, evangelism, and discipleship. Opportunities also exist for short-term teams to provide Vacation Bible Schools, construction and evangelism. Interns will find opportunities to serve from one month to six months as teachers, youth workers, children's ministers and in construction.
